Het is een camping, half aangeharkt, half bos.<\/p>\n<p>Als ik een droomcamping mocht bedenken, kwam deze er aardig dicht bij in de buurt:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Er is een wild bos om in te kamperen<\/li>\n<li>Er is een rivier met stenen<\/li>\n<li>Er zijn goeie voorzieningen maar er is nog heel veel potentie overal<\/li>\n<li>Er hangt een fijne sfeer<\/li>\n<li>In de buurt kun je wandelen in een flink natuurgebied<\/li>\n<li>Er is weinig wifi (dat houdt ook de mensen die van wifi op vakantie houden, op een afstand)<\/li>\n<li>Naast de camping staat een stel shetlandpony&#8217;s<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Helemaal onderaan dit bericht een paar mooie plaatjes van de camping.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Camping de Drakenberg (camping &#8220;Mont Dragon&#8221;) ligt in de buurt van Eupen en Baelen in Belgi\u00eb. Dichtbij natuurpark Hautes Fagnes. Ik nam de trein vanuit Utrecht naar Maastricht. Het is vanaf daar maar \u00b1 45 kilometer fietsen (of wandelen).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Het regende de hele dag half. Wegens snertveel regen heb ik onderweg niet meer foto&#8217;s genomen dan deze ene, mooi is het wel.<\/p>\n<p>Op de camping kwam ik een aardige, fietsende Brit tegen die een fietsreparatiekit bleek te hebben. Samen hebben we mijn remmen geprobeerd opnieuw af te stellen. Dat was erg leerzaam, ik snap nu hoe het moet. Het is alleen niet helemaal gelukt. De achterrem was na een half uur proberen, nog niet gefixt. Aan mijn versnellingen, die ook deze bergen niet aan bleken te kunnen, zijn we niet eens toegekomen.\u00a0Terug heb ik een lift gekregen van een vriend. Daar werd ik eraan herinnert hoe fijn het kan zijn om mensen beter te leren kennen.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Ga toch fietsen<\/strong><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_4974\" style=\"width: 310px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-4974\" class=\"wp-image-4974 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/sannebloem.nl\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/hier-links-mont-dragon-300x256.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"256\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sannebloem.nl\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/hier-links-mont-dragon-300x256.png 300w, https:\/\/sannebloem.nl\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/hier-links-mont-dragon-500x426.png 500w, https:\/\/sannebloem.nl\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/hier-links-mont-dragon-508x433.png 508w, https:\/\/sannebloem.nl\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/hier-links-mont-dragon.png 540w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-4974\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Als je dit kapelletje bij een boom ziet, ben je op rue de l&#8217;invasion en moet je naar links om de camping te bereiken.<\/p><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">De <em>kortste<\/em><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> route om er heen te fietsen vind je via je eigen navigatiesysteem. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">De <em>mooiste<\/em> route<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is via fietsknooppunten:<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">79, 06, 65, 66, 71, 82,83,84, 427, 426, 53, 54, 72, 73, 74, 14, 13, 24, 23, 36, 35, ri 38 en bij kapelletje links.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: left;\">Fietsknoopwatten?<\/h5>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Voor wie het genot van fietsknooppunten nog nieuw is: het is een netwerk van nummers op fietspaden in Nederland, Belgi\u00eb en een beetje daarbuiten. De routes zijn vaak auto-luw, mooi en iets langer dan wanneer je zo snel mogelijk wilt fietsen. Het is de moeite van de extra meters altijd waard.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bij elk paaltje volg je de nummers die je vooraf hebt gekozen. Je fietst dus zonder apparaat. Je moet er even aan wennen, maar als je een oog ontwikkelt voor de bordjes met nummers, is het genieten geblazen.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8212; tips als je gaat fietsen&#8212;<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In het weekend mag je fiets altijd mee in de trein, doordeweeks alleen buiten de spits. Je moet een fietskaartje kopen.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Je kunt een fiets huren bij het station van Maastricht bij &#8220;Aon de Stasie&#8221; voor \u20ac10 p\/d<\/li>\n<li>Neem een pauze halverwege in Teuven, dat is sfeervoller dan Slenaken.<\/li>\n<li>Het is niet al te stijl, maar je remmen en versnellingen moeten het wel goed doen.<\/li>\n<li>Ik fietste begin april 2023, in Belgi\u00eb waren 3 stukken van de route geblokkeerd. Ik ben toch gewoon doorgefietst en dat ging steeds prima, soms ontbreekt een stukje weg of moet je even door een grote plas.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/montdragon.be\">De website van de
